SEMO men gain Bogan, lose Sain
Added Thursday, April 12
A 6-foot-6 senior forward from Jackson, Tenn., who narrowed his choices to Southeast, Middle Tennessee State and Alabama, made his final pick Thursday, a day after former University of Memphis recruit Will Bogan formally joined the Southeast men's basketball program.

Josh Sain told The Jackson (Tenn.) Sun that he will attend MTSU. As a senior, Sain led his team with 16 points per game and was the Class AA state tournament MVP after helping nationally ranked Liberty (37-3) win its second state title in a row. Both Alabama and MTSU offered Sain a scholarship.

Bogan, who committed to SEMO in January after his offer from Memphis coach John Calipari was rescinded, signed with the Redhawks as expected. Bogan, a 6-10 senior, averaged 22 points and almost 15 rebounds in the past season for Bell City, which finished second in the Class 1 state tournament.
