1988 MOTORSPORTS Caruthersville Speedway Racing returned to Pemiscot County with the new Caruthersville Speedway's debut event July 15. Arkansas' Dicky Jackson topped the program by winning the Super Street Stock feature race. Racing continued into October. July 15 Super Stocks: 1. Dicky Jackson, 2. James Satterfield, 3. John Barnett. Hobby Stocks: 1. Randy Tomlin, 2. Pete King, 3. Emmett Groves.
