1997Season Recap

Cape Girardeau business owner Richard Kirkpatrick took over operations of the track under a new lease agreement. The track continued weekly events headlined by Sprints and featured two firsts with appearances by open-wheel modifieds and the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint series. After its final events in October, the track closed from 1998 to 2001.
