Auto Tire & Parts Racepark

Doug Friese led a group of investors from the Cape Girardeau-based Auto Tire & Parts chain to purchase the track, rename it Auto Tire & Parts Racepark and open the facility for the first time since October 1998. Limited late models and the two-man cruiser cars were introduced on a rotating schedule, while Sprints headlined weekly programs. Open-wheel modifieds were added to the weekly schedule for the first time in the track's history.
