2003 MOTORSPORTS Auto Tire & Parts Racepark New leaseholder Jerry Wolsey opened the season as the track's fourth different promoter with an ambitious schedule that included several touring series, including the first-ever appearance by NCRA Sprints. Wolsey also announced the return of UMP Late Models to the schedule, although that division endured an up-and-down season; the class was dropped from the weekly program after May 3 because of low participation, then returned on a weekly basis in late August when Sprints were dropped for the same reason (although rain wiped out much of the late-season schedule).
