sir 1985Season Recap Falling car counts led to Late Models being dropped from the weekly schedule after May 25, and less than two months later Gene Reid leased the track and took over operations. Late Models would return just once more during the season September 1 for a special Sunday event that attracted almost 20 entries, that division's highest car count in several years.
