1987 MOTORSPORTS Sikeston Int. Raceway Sikeston International Raceway's final season of operation began after the owner of a local nightclub took over the track's lease and introduced several changes: It was renamed Double Nickel International Raceway, competed on a new night (Fridays) and added classes that promoters hoped would help it attract racers from outside Missouri. That format lasted only about two months before the facility's owner assumed operation and returned to its former name, then closed abruptly in July for the final time. MAY 9 Super Streets: 1.
